Quiet Growth, Rising Market Confidence

GYBE’s current perception of the market is quiet growth; candidates having increased confidence to make a move, but doing their due diligence beforehand. Our clients are moving ahead with more conviction following the State election and the announcements surrounding Brisbane 2032.
Annual salary growth is currently sitting at 3.7%, with overall job ad volumes in Queensland dropping 6.9% m/m, the sharpest monthly decline in the state since 2020. In Marketing and Digital - Mar vs Feb saw an increase in marketing roles advertised by only 0.5%. It will be interesting to see the April results in our next mailer.
